The cause behind the gathering
AHEPA Service Dogs for Warriors
AHEPA Service Dogs for Warriors is a national initiative of the Order of AHEPA. It raises funds to provide specially trained service dogs to veterans living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), at no cost to the veterans.
The program aims to help combat veterans and active-duty service members cope with trauma, emotional overload, and medical crises through the support of trained service dogs.
Program milestone:
To date the initiative has raised over $1,000,000 and sponsored over 100 service dogs.

Donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers help make each placement possible.
No cost to veterans
The service dog is provided to the veteran free of charge.
